About Us
Marcelle is a passionate animal behaviourist and trainer, with a special focus on the rehabilitation of rescues.
With over ten years of experience, she offers behaviour and training consultations for dogs, cats, and horses.
Her work covers a wide range of services, including hands-on training, online consultations, and behavioural rehabilitation.
Qualifications include a certificate in Early Canine Development from the University of Pretoria, an advanced award in Feline Behaviour, and a Diploma in Animal Behaviour from The Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE SA). She also holds various certificates in animal welfare and has trained in Tellington T-Touch.
Guided by the motto “first, do no harm,” she uses only positive training methods, believing that following the animal’s lead is key to success.
Her love for animals doesn’t stop at work—she lives on a farm surrounded by her own rescued companions: 4 cats, 2 dogs, donkeys, geese, and more.
Driven by a deep connection to animals and years of hands-on experience, she is the heart behind Hakuna Matata. Her gentle approach and dedication make her a trusted expert in animal training, behaviour, and rehabilitation.
